What we produce

Every kind of 2D animation, from one dedicated team.

01

Explainer Animation

Make a product or idea click in under two minutes. We build explainers so viewers get it the first time through, no rewatch required.

02

Character Animation

Characters with real personality that carry the story, not just decorate it. Rigged for volume, or drawn frame by frame when a moment needs the extra weight.

03

Animated Ads

2D ads that hook in the first three seconds, before anyone scrolls past. Delivered in every size and cut-down your paid social and display placements need.

04

Motion Illustration

Illustrated frames set in motion for infographics, data stories, and editorial. The movement explains what a static image can't.

05

Brand Animation

Animated logos, idents, and stings that give your identity a signature move. Consistent whether it opens a film or caps a fifteen-second ad.

06

Social & Short-Form

Loops, stickers, and short cuts sized for feeds and stories. Built to read with the sound off and stop a thumb mid-scroll.

And plenty more, from a five-second loop to a full explainer.

One good 2D animation is easy. Forty on brand is the test.

Finding someone to make a single 2D piece is easy. Volume is where it falls apart: the style drifts from one video to the next, or your one animator gets booked on someone else's deadline and everything waiting behind them stops. Moonb gives you a team and a Creative Director who hold the look steady and keep the work moving, week after week.

Freelancers One animator, one style. When they're booked or offline, everything behind them waits.
vs
Moonb A team across illustration, animation, and sound, so one stuck frame never stalls the slate.
Hiring in-house Months to recruit a 2D animator, then a salary and a software bill in the quiet weeks too.
vs
Moonb People on your work from week one, scaling with your slate, not your headcount.
Legacy agency Long timelines, an account manager in the middle, a fresh quote for every change.
vs
Moonb A Creative Director who owns the work, at a rhythm you can build a calendar around.
Our take

Great 2D animation is written before it's drawn

Slick motion won't rescue a weak idea. The animations that work start with a script and storyboard that already hold up as words and sketches, before a single frame moves. Nail that part and the animating is the easy half.

So we spend the real time up front, on the concept, the beats, and where your eye should go. Your Creative Director signs off on the story before production starts, which keeps revisions small and makes the finished piece feel deliberate, not decorated after the fact.

What it's like to work with your animation team

You brief in one place, and the same people pick it up every time. No relearning your brand, no reopening your style guide from scratch. Your Creative Director holds the quality bar and reviews every piece before it reaches you. Most requests move in days, and because the team already knows how your characters walk and how your brand sounds, the tenth animation sits happily next to the first.

Why 2D is still the workhorse of animation

2D goes anywhere: it explains software without screenshots, gives a brand a cast of characters no stock library has, and stays light enough to ship weekly. When teams need animation that scales with a content calendar instead of a film budget, this is the discipline they lean on.

Style is a decision, not a default

Every 2D project starts with a style frame, not a template. Flat or textured, bouncy or restrained, the look gets chosen for your brand and then held across every scene and every episode that follows.

Style frames first, always.

Frequently Asked Questions

A 30 to 60 second explainer usually runs two to four weeks from approved script to final delivery. Most of that is illustration, boarding, and design; the animation itself moves fast once the frames are locked. Custom character work adds time, and short social cuts and animated logos arrive quicker. You get a real timeline once we see the brief, not a placeholder.

Flat vector and motion-graphic looks, hand-illustrated and frame-by-frame character animation, kinetic type, and animated infographics. Have a reference or an existing brand style? We match it closely. Don't have one? Your Creative Director walks you through a couple of directions and helps you settle on one you'll still like on the fiftieth video.

Either way works. Hand us a finished script, or give us a rough brief and we'll write it. Every project goes through a storyboard and a style frame you approve before anyone animates, because a fix at the sketch stage costs a comment and a fix after animation costs a week.

Yes. We animate inside your guidelines and build on the illustrations, characters, and icons you already own. If a piece is missing, say a side angle of a character or an icon that was never drawn, we design it in your style so nothing looks bolted on.

Yes. Sound design, music, and voiceover casting are part of the piece, so it arrives finished rather than silent. Prefer to bring your own VO or track? We build the animation around it.

Revisions are part of the rhythm, not a surcharge. Because you sign off at script and storyboard, the notes that reach the animation stage are usually small polish, not a rebuild. If something genuinely isn't working, we fix it. The sign-off at each stage is what keeps rounds low, not a hard cap on the count.

You work with the team month to month for a set monthly rate, with the volume and scope of animation agreed up front. No per-project quoting, and no fresh estimate every time you send a change. Book a call and we'll size it to what you actually need.
