Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Moonb uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, on this website. It lists every tool that stores or reads information on your device, what it is for, and how you can turn it off.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Local storage works in a similar way: it keeps a small piece of information in your browser so the site can read it again later. In this policy we call both of them "cookies".

2. Your choice

Analytics tools run by default for every visitor. You can switch them off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page or the round cookie button in the bottom left corner. If you reject analytics, we also delete the visit ids described below from your browser.

3. Essential

These are needed for the site to work and are always on.

  • Cookie choice (moonb-cookie-consent, local storage): remembers what you chose in the cookie banner. Kept until you clear your browser data.
  • Hosting: our hosting provider, Vercel, receives your IP address and basic browser details to serve the pages and keep the site secure.

4. Analytics

These show us how the site is used so we can improve it. They run by default, and you can switch them off at any time in the cookie settings.

  • Google Analytics (cookies _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years): pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, and approximate location.
  • Microsoft Clarity (cookies _clck, kept for up to 1 year, and _clsk, kept for 1 day): heatmaps and session recordings that show how people scroll, click and move on a page. Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded.
  • Moonb visit analytics (_mb_vid and _mb_sid, local storage): our own analytics, run from Moonb OS. _mb_vid is a random id that stays until you clear your browser data or reject analytics. _mb_sid groups the pages of one visit and resets after 30 minutes without activity. We record the pages you view, the page that sent you here, time on page, scroll depth, where you click, and the campaign tags in the link you used. We look up which company a visit comes from using the IP address, and we add that company name to the Microsoft Clarity recording of the visit. This is not anonymous: if you open a link from an email we sent you, the link can carry a code that tells us which contact opened the page, and if you book a call with us, we attach your visit id to the booking so we can see which pages you read before the call.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics: counts visits and traffic sources without cookies.

5. Marketing

We do not run advertising or retargeting tags on this website. If you turn on Marketing in the cookie settings, we pass that choice on to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and nothing else is loaded.

6. Third party services

Some features come from other companies. They may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

  • Cal.com: our booking tool. Its script loads on our pages so the booking window opens quickly, and Cal.com may set its own cookies when you open the booking window.
  • Vimeo and YouTube: when you play one of our films, or a video embedded in an article, the player loads from Vimeo or YouTube, which may set cookies.
  • Web3Forms: processes the contact form and forwards your message to us by email. It does not set cookies on this site.

7. How to control cookies

Use the cookie button in the bottom left corner to accept or reject analytics at any time. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block local storage, the site cannot remember your cookie choice.

8. Legal basis

Essential cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website. We use analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding which companies and people are interested in our work, and you can switch it off at any time. 9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the tools we use change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
