Product Video Production

Launch films, demos, feature clips and the 15-second cut for the product page, from one dedicated Creative Team that already knows how your product works. The viewer gets what it does in the first ten seconds, without a rep in the room.

What we produce

Every video a product needs, from one team that stays with it.

01

Launch films

The film that introduces the product: the problem it solves, what it looks like in use, and why now. Cut for the launch page, the keynote and the ads that follow.

02

Product demos

A 2 to 3 minute walkthrough of the product doing real work, for the homepage and for sales to send after a call.

03

Feature clips

Short videos, one feature each, for onboarding, release notes, support docs and the product page.

04

Physical product videos

The product turned, used and shown at scale, shot in a studio or built in 3D when the thing is too small or not built yet.

05

Product ads

Fifteen and thirty-second cuts for paid social and YouTube, in every ratio, tested before the money goes behind them.

06

Pre-launch videos

Built from prototypes, mockups or CAD before the product ships, so sales and investors can see it while it is still being made.

And more, from a six-second feature clip to a full launch film.

The agency model is broken. We fixed it.

Most production companies meet your product the week they film it. They quote the launch video on its own, and six months later the demo, the feature clips and the ad cutdowns go out to someone else, so nothing matches and nothing reuses what was built. We learn how your product works once, keep every source file, and carry what we know from the launch film to the fiftieth feature clip.

Our take

What a product video has to do in ten seconds

A product video has about ten seconds to show what the product does and who it is for. Most spend them on a logo, a slogan and a slow reveal, and the viewer has decided before the product appears. The ones that sell open on the product in use, show the one thing it does better, and only then explain how.

The other difference is familiarity. The first product video we make is rarely the best one. By the third or fourth we know which feature closes deals, which screen confuses people, and what your sales team wishes the video said. That is why we work as an ongoing team and not as a crew you book for the launch.

How we made a product explainer for V-Nova

V-Nova LCEVC is a video compression technology, which is a hard thing to make anyone want to watch. They needed a short, stylish film that shows how easy the product is to use and how widely it applies. We mixed 3D environments, character animation and painted backgrounds into a 60-second piece, so the technology reads as a story instead of a spec sheet. The hero above is the launch film we made for Dell. Every product video here runs the same way: your Creative Director learns the product first, writes the script around the one thing that sells it, and stays on for the demo, the feature clips and the cutdowns.

What product video production includes

Discovery on the product and the buyer, the script, a storyboard, the shoot or the screen capture or the 3D build, the edit, motion graphics and callouts, voiceover, sound, captions, review rounds, and delivery in every size the product page, the app store and the ad accounts need. When you compare quotes, check that the cutdowns and the review rounds are inside them. A launch film with no 15-second cut for the product page is half a product video.

How much does a product video cost?

Quoted per project, most product videos cost between $1,000 and $15,000 in 2026, with 3D product films and multi-day live-action shoots above that. These are an indication of the market, what production companies typically charge per project, not our prices. A screen-captured feature clip sits at the bottom of the range, an animated launch film in the middle, and a 3D or studio-shot hero film at the top. Scene count, animation depth and shoot days move the number more than running time does. We cover the same work with one dedicated Creative Team at one set monthly rate, or on a per-project quote when a single video is all you need.

FormatTypical project quoteWhat moves the number
Feature clip or how-to$1,000 to $3,000length, screen capture versus a shoot
Motion graphics demo$1,000 to $5,000design density, runtime
Animated explainer$2,000 to $8,000style, length, revision rounds
Product or explainer video$3,000 to $15,000animation depth, scene count, shoot days
3D product film$5,000 to $50,000+modeling, rendering and realism

The product video formats we make

Launch films, homepage demos, sales walkthroughs, feature clips, app store previews, product-page loops, 3D product films, unboxing and how-to videos, and the 15 and 30-second ad cuts, each shipped in the ratio and length its placement needs.

  • Homepage and sales demos
  • Feature and release clips
  • App store and product-page previews
  • 3D product films and turntables
  • Physical product and packshot videos
  • Unboxing and how-to videos

Which company should make your product video?

It depends on how often the product changes. One launch film for a product that will stand for a year: a production company that quotes per project, and our list of product video companies compares the strongest ones. A product that ships features every quarter, with demos, clips and ads to match: a dedicated team, because a production company meets your product on the shoot day and the fifth video costs as much as the first. James Pais, Creative Service Director at Frame, said this about working with us.

My team really enjoyed working with Moonb and found the experience seamless.

How it works

From signup to first delivery in under 2 days.

01

Learn the product

Your Creative Director goes through the product with you, finds the one thing that sells it and the screen where people get lost, then writes the script and storyboard around that.

Sign-off before production
02

Shoot, capture or build

A studio shoot for a physical product, screen capture and UI animation for software, or a 3D build when the product is too small, not built yet, or needs to be cut open.

Live action, screen or 3D
03

Edit, cut down, deliver

The hero film, then the demo, the feature clips and the 15-second cuts for the product page and the ads, every one from the same files, delivered before the launch date.

Every placement covered

Moonb delivered very high-quality work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quoted per project, most product videos cost between $1,000 and $15,000: a screen-captured feature clip from $1,000, an animated launch film or demo from $2,000 to $15,000, and 3D product films from $5,000 to $50,000 and more. These are an indication of the market, what production companies typically charge per project, not our prices. We cover the same work at one set monthly rate, or on a per-project quote when a single video is all you need.

We learn the product first and find the one thing that sells it. Then a script and a storyboard you sign off, the shoot, screen capture or 3D build, the edit with motion graphics and callouts, voiceover and sound, and every cutdown the product page, the app store and the ads need. Your Creative Director runs all of it.

Five lines: who watches it and where, the one workflow it should show, the result the viewer should believe at the end, the length and ratios you need, and what already exists, from screenshots to a recorded sales demo. Send us that and we come back with a script, not more questions.

AI can draft a script, generate a voiceover and make a rough cut from screen recordings, and for an internal update that is sometimes enough. It cannot yet show your real product reliably, hold your brand across a series, or decide which feature sells. For anything a buyer sees we use real footage, real UI capture and animators.

Under 30 seconds on a product page or in an ad, 60 to 90 seconds for a launch film, 2 to 3 minutes for a homepage demo, and 5 to 7 minutes for a sales walkthrough someone rewatches on their own time. Whatever the length, the product and its main benefit appear in the first ten seconds.

Software usually gets screen capture with animated callouts, because buyers want to recognize the product when they log in, plus animation for the parts a screen cannot show. Physical products get a studio shoot, or 3D when the product is too small, not built yet, or needs to be cut open. Most launch films mix two of the three.

Yes. We build from prototypes, mockups, Figma files or CAD, so sales, investors and the launch page can show the product while it is still being made. Once it ships, we drop in the real footage or UI and keep everything else.

No. A single launch film is quoted per project. The ongoing team is for products that change: new features, new demos, new clips and new ad cuts every month, made by people who already know the product and have the files, so each one is an update and not a new production.
