About us

Moonb is a creative production studio. We give marketing teams an embedded, creative-director-led team for video, design, motion and animation, delivered on a steady weekly rhythm: brand story videos, campaign assets, pitch decks, ad creative, social content. High-quality output, on repeat.

Marketing teams work with us the way they would with an in-house creative department, except the whole thing is already built, aligned to their brand, and shipping every week.

We are small and senior on purpose. Every person here owns real work and sits close to the creative director. Design is a first-class craft, not an afterthought to video, and it is taste a machine cannot fake that clients come back for.

Our culture

We hold a high bar for craft. No detail is too small. The work is the reputation.

Taste is the job. We make the hard calls and stand behind them.

One team. Designers, editors and animators share the same room and push each other.

We make things by hand, with taste a machine cannot fake. That is the pride, and we mean it.

About the Role

Our Internship Program is built to teach. Over 6 to 12 months you work on-site in our studio in Baixa, central Lisbon, on real client projects across video, design, motion and animation.

You will be paired with senior people who actually want to teach. You get real briefs, you sit in real feedback, and you leave a much stronger maker than you arrived. For the right person, it becomes a full-time role.

How you can make an impact

  • Work on live client projects, not made-up exercises.
  • Learn the full path from brief to storyboard to finished asset, one step at a time.
  • Sit in feedback cycles with our creative director and designers, and see how work gets better.
  • Support the team on delivery, and own small pieces end to end as you find your feet.

Let's connect if you have

  • Early in your creative path: a student, a recent graduate, or self-taught and serious about it.
  • A starting body of work (course projects, personal pieces, anything that shows how you see).
  • Some grip on the core tools, or the drive to learn them fast.
  • Genuinely curious, reliable, and easy to teach.
  • Based in Lisbon (or ready to be) with the right to work or intern in Portugal for the length of the program. This is on-site, not remote.
  • We do not care about degrees or certificates. Show us the work, and show us the hunger.

Nice to haves

  • A specific discipline you are drawn to (motion, design, editing or illustration).
  • Any After Effects, Figma or Adobe experience at all.
  • Personal projects you started just because you wanted to.

What you get

  • Real mentorship from senior designers and a creative director who take teaching seriously.
  • Live client work across video, design, motion and animation, not filler tasks.
  • A clear path: strong interns are first in line for a full-time seat.
  • A seat in our studio in the heart of Baixa, central Lisbon.
  • A fixed-term, paid internship (6 to 12 months) with a clear plan for what you will learn.

Apply for this role

Please read before you apply. We review every application from a real reel, so make it easy for us to see your work.

Send two things. First, a link to your reel or portfolio. This is required: no reel means no application. Second, name one piece you personally animated, and in one sentence tell us the single thing you would redo if you made it again.

Applications without a reel link will not be reviewed. Your reel is your CV.
